With a few questions, let’s get a little insight into our Marketing Manager

What are the biggest challenges marketers face?

In the supply chain marketing world, the big challenges include making complex stuff easy to get, standing out in a crowded market, keeping up with changing customer expectations, and proving that investing in supply chain solutions is worth it.

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

The fact it’s constantly changing. No one day is the same and I know that might sound cheesy but the fact that I get to work with amazing technology and come up with creative solutions.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into marketing?

If you want to get into marketing then it’s not enough to just be passionate about it, you must be prepared to have a relationship with it!

There will be days when it’s hard – systems aren’t working, the simplest of email campaigns fail, social media trolls ruining your amazing PR piece, but, for me, the rewards outweigh all of this.

There’s nothing quite like seeing your brand-new launched website working seamlessly and that email campaign generating even more leads.

So… if marketing is where you want to take your career, then do it. Now is an exciting time for both traditional and digital, especially in professional services firms, a lot of change is in progress and honestly, I think it’ll only keep on growing.

In addition to the above, we are launching a podcast that will focus on all Supply Chain Management things.

What does the marketing department do at an Supply Chain Management company?

At Mechanical Power, our marketing crew is all about pushing the boundaries and making sure we’re not just another name in the industrial parts and supply chain game.

By whipping up some killer promotional campaigns, we put the spotlight on what makes us stand out from the crowd, helping us grow and keep our customers coming back for more.

And let’s not forget about connecting with our audience. With a mix of digital and content that sticks, we’re always chatting up our expertise in making supply chains smoother and delivering the best industrial solutions out there.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I’m all about family. I love taking my kids up in the air for a little air-venture, showing them the joys of flying. My wife, our golden retriever Nala, and I enjoy simple things like going for walks, and hanging out.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you?

I hold a Black Belt in Krav Maga and love potato pancakes. 🙂
